There will be a Daniel G. Benes Science Show from 2 to 3 p.m. June 13 at Eula Hunt Beck Florence Public Library, 207 East Main Street, Florence. Daniel will perform old-school and state-of-the-art demonstrations of physics, chemistry and electricity. This event is open to children ages 4 to 12.
Belton Car and Truck Meet will be from 7 to 11 p.m. June 9 at Belton Christian Youth Center, 499 E Avenue C, Belton. Participants are invited to come show off their rides. Organizers ask that there be no burnouts, drinking, driving fast in and out of the parking lot or fighting.
