Songsmith Salado Chapter Meeting
Songsmith will host their first Salado chapter meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. May14 at the Salado Public Library, 1151 N Main St, Salado.
The meeting is free and will consist of discussion about the craft and business of music, friendly feedback on original songs which members bring to the meetings, as well as occasional guest speakers.
The Salado chapter will continue to meet on the second Monday of each month at the same time and location.
There is no fee for membership. Refreshments will be provided.
Songsmith is a Texas-based non-profit organization with the mission to discover, encourage and connect the many talented songwriters and musicians in the state of Texas, and especially in the Central Texas area.

Mary Dawson, President of Songsmith, will also be in attendance at this inaugural meeting. She will be be giving free autographed copies of her book, “How to Get Somewhere in the Music Business from Nowhere with Nothing,” to all attendees.
