If you think you have a homemade recipe that the whole world needs to experience, H-E-B wants to hear from you. Killeen-area residents have the opportunity to meet H-E-B Quest for Texas Best experts on Feb. 12 to learn more about submitting their unique food and beverage ideas for the chance to win $70,000, according to a news release from Christie Garella, an H-E-B spokeswoman. The representatives will be at the conference room of the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce, located at 1 Santa Fe Plaza Dr. Doors open at 11 a.m. There, they will offer insight and advice to those who intend on entering products. Advice will be given on product development and the best practices for submitting their creation.

Since it was first launched in 2014, the contest has yielded more than 240 new products that have hit H-E-B shelves.
