Songhai Bamboo Roots Association will host a Caribbean Fest from noon to 11 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Long Branch Park in Killeen. The event is free and will feature vendors and entertainment, including a performance by Baila Pacifica Entertainment dancers.
The Gatesville Convention and Visitors Bureau will host a Rodeo Dance at 9 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Gatesville Civic Center, 301 Veterans Memorial Loop, Gatesville. This old-fashioned community dance will be for all ages. Ed Leonard will play classic two-stepping country music and admission is free with a rodeo wristband.
