The “Freeze Off” best homemade ice cream in Bell County contest will be held at the Texas History Days in Salado Festival June 9 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Salado Civic Center. If you don’t want to compete, just come by and purchase a yummy dish of creamy goodness. This contest is sponsored by the Salado Lions Club and all proceeds will go to fund their charitable programs.
